1. Overview & Commitment
Welcome to Pet Animator ("we," "our," or "the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and treating your data with strict confidentiality.
Pet Animator allows you to upload photos of your pets and animate them using artificial intelligence (generating talking, expressive pet videos). This document explains what information is collected, how it is processed, and your rights under global privacy regulations and Google Play Store policies.
2. Photos, Videos & AI Processing
To create animated videos, the App processes user-provided pet photos:
- User-Selected Photos: When you pick an image from your device library, the image is encoded and transmitted over secure encrypted connections (HTTPS) to our AI processing cluster solely to generate your requested animation.
- No Biometric Facial Recognition: Pet Animator is designed for pets (dogs, cats, etc.). We do not extract biometric facial geometry, personal identifiers, or scan human faces.
- Data Retention & Deletion: Uploaded images and generated video files are processed ephemerally in-memory or transient storage and are automatically deleted after generation completes. We do not store or sell your personal pet photos.
- Local Storage: When you tap "Download", the generated video is saved directly into your phone's personal gallery via standard Android MediaStore APIs.
3. App Analytics & Diagnostics
To ensure stability and improve application features, we use Google Firebase Analytics:
- App Interactions: Screen visits, style selection clicks, generation success rates, video watch duration, and sharing selections.
- Diagnostic & Performance Data: Crash reports, network error codes, and generation latency.
- Device & OS Identifiers: Anonymous pseudonymous identifiers (e.g., Firebase App Instance ID, device model, Android OS version, and language setting).
All analytics data is collected in aggregate, transmitted with encryption in transit, and used exclusively for product improvements.
4. Advertising & Third-Party SDKs
We support our free service through Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and process:
- Google Advertising ID (GAID) for personalized or contextual ads (depending on user consent and platform settings).
- Ad impressions, interaction counts, and IP address for fraud detection and ad serving.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization.
5. Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to notify you of app updates, generation completions, or new pet styles. You can revoke notification permissions at any time in your device's app settings.
6. Security & Data Protection
All network communications between the Pet Animator application and our backend endpoints utilize industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2 / 1.3) encryption.
No user accounts or logins are required to use Pet Animator. We do not store passwords, email addresses, or financial information.
